Come enjoy a night with one of Australia’s top singers, Timothy Aaron Cooper, as he performs songs from smash hit Broadway Musicals such as Les Mis, Jersey Boys and Wicked. Featuring accompaniment from the one and only Jakey Bristow!
Originally from Brisbane, Timothy Aaron Cooper has spent a significant portion of his life performing professionally over in the USA, including New York City. Some of Tim's professional performing credits include the USA Broadway National Tour of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Off-Broadway Productions of The Light Rail and Vox Lumiere’s Phantom in New York City. Timothy has also performed in professional USA productions of Jersey Boys, Sweeney Todd, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, and Ragtime. Tim's TV credits include True Crime with Aphrodite Jones and BYU Spectacular with Brian Stokes Mitchell. Tim has also worked as a main stage performer for Disney and has been a featured guest entertainer multiple times on Celebrity Cruises. Tim is currently playing John Ashby in the Queensland Premiere of Georgy Girl - The Seekers Musical at the Twelfth Night Theatre. You also would have seen Tim recently as a featured soloist in both Disney in Concert in Brisbane and Carols in the Spiegeltent at last year’s Wynnum Wonderland.
Jakey Bristow is a vocalist and pianist who crosses many genres. He performs in the Jazz, Pop/Rock, Covers, Piano Bar and Theatre scenes throughout Australia. Based in Brisbane he began as a keen jazz musician graduating from the Jazz Music Institute in 2014 and has been a full time freelance musician since. With a quick wit, cheeky smile and daring sense of sense of humor Jake is a powerhouse entertainer which has been crafted from his years of gigging in Covers Bands, Piano Bars and fronting his Jazz Quartet. Jake is frequently working in the theater and cabaret scene as a performer, accompanist and music director. He has worked on several national tours including The Tenor Tenors, Lisa Hunt and ABC’s Jenny Woodward. Jake has been involved in the creation of many different shows including: A Very Naughty Christmas, Babushka’s Regifted and Sleep In The City.
